From the extremely upscale to the more low cost options, Sri Lanka provides an impressively diverse range of different cafes that are located in the country. In Colombo a café generally refers to what one would expect to mean a café in a European country, but in the more outstation areas even the smallest little teashop can also be referred to as a café.

Some of the more famous cafes that can be found in Sri Lanka include The Commons, Deli France, Coffee Shop and Queens Café. These cafes are considered the hotspots for many hailing from Colombo.
