Wildlife in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is an island paradise that is rich in its offerings when it comes to wildlife as it is home to an impressive selection of animals.

Animals that can be seen in wildlife sanctuaries throughout the country include the species of the cat family such as the leopard as well as deer, reptiles, sloth bears and various amphibians. It also provides an interesting climb through the area for the more physically inclined.
