Tissamaharama is located about 260 km from Colombo and can be reached in around 5 hours via the Southern Expressway. Regular buses and private taxis operate between Colombo, Matara, and Tissa. The closest railway stations are in Matara and Beliatta, with local transfers available. Once in town, tuk-tuks make short trips convenient and affordable.
