Location & Map of Hikkaduwa

Hikkaduwa is situated in the Southern part of Sri Lanka where its geographical coordinates are 6° 8' 25" North, 80° 6' 14" East. It is approximately 100Km to the South from the Bandaranayke International Airport.

The road to Hikkaduwa lies down the southern coastal belt of Sri Lanka where main cities such as Colombo, Kalutara, Bentota, Beruwala, Ambalangoda will be passed to arrive at the destination.  The Hikkaduwa town features the bus stand, train station, police station, hotels and diving stations. Further south to Hikkaduwa town is Narigama, which compromise of a large number of guesthouses and restaurants.

Hikkaduwa can also be easily accessible from Galle, the main town of the Southern province. Down the coastal line, any traveller can easily find accommodation in Hikkaduwa. Access to Hikkaduwa is extremely easy no matter whether you are travelling from the western province or further south off Hikkaduwa. Due to this fact,  most travellers make it a point to stop at Hikkaduwa to enjoy the breathtaking scenery amidst the palm trees on their way to or from down south of Sri Lanka.
