Culture & history are integral elements of what makes Sri Lanka beautiful and interesting. Whether it involves religious aspects such as the various places of worship located in almost all the main destinations of Sri Lanka or even the vibrant history of this wonderful land of heritage and tradition, there is much to be seen. With culture and history alike present wherever one visits, this wondrous country has much to offer visitors.

Take a visit to the cultural triangle of Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Dambulla and bear witness to the ancient history of Sri Lanka by way of the remaining relics from a kingdom left behind in time. One of the main highlights of Dambulla is the impressive Dambulla Rock Temple that dates back to the 1st century and is situated within five caves of the Dambulla Rock. This site is considered a shrine amongst Buddhists as well as Hindus.

Other attractions include the World Heritage Sites, which span across the country and include Sigiriya, The Temple of the Tooth Relic and cities such as Galle, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa.
